Pricing for Our Services
We welcome all inquiries about our services by phone and email. The pricing for ghostwriting and publishing can vary a great deal. In order to provide a realistic cost estimate, we need to know exactly what kind of project you are pursuing and what specific goals you have in mind.
Is this a book for which you require a collaborator for ghostwriting or editing prior to publication? For your book to be ghostwritten, we first need to know the scope of your story and how much research is likely to be involved. This includes interviews that may be required, as well as any media or archival research. What is the subject you are writing about and what is the intended audience for your book?
Do you have a story or a manuscript that you want to sell and for which you only need a book proposal for submission to literary agents and trade publishers? Or, do you have the rough draft of a manuscript that you need to have edited and prepared for publication? We can provide you with a detailed estimate for book proposals and editing assignments based on our evaluation. Of course, the more work and time required for a particular project, the more expensive that project will be for us to undertake.
The fees that we charge for each project depend on the specific needs of each of our clients and prospective authors. This also applies to those specialized services listed on our webpage devoted to Other Writing Services. With corporate White Papers, Executive Profiles and a wide range of PR assignments, our pricing is based on the marketing requirements for each of our corporate clients.
For those businesses and those entrepreneurial authors who wish to self-publish their books, the cost these days is quite reasonable. This reflects dramatic changes in publishing that have occurred in recent years, in large part because print-on-demand technology has eliminated the high cost of printing books in advance with traditional offset press.
More and more books today are printed and then shipped by Amazon and other retailers only after customers order them. As such, clients who decide to self-publish don’t incur the burden of any upfront expenses for either printing or paper. The cost of book design also varies. While we have experienced art designers who we often commission for our books, Amazon’s online affiliate, CreateSpace, offers some very inexpensive design solutions for both book covers and interiors.
Books can also be promoted inexpensively on the internet and through social media, or we can design more ambitious publicity and marketing campaigns for clients who want more extensive media exposure, which of course involves greater expense. This may require us to tailor a client’s PR campaign to targeted and niche audiences for certain books that warrant that kind of exposure.
Again, we cater to each client according to his or her needs and objectives.
* Please note that we don’t accept projects on the basis of sharing in future royalties or profits after publication. We are compensated for our services in advance on a pre-agreed payment schedule in order to meet your publishing needs and accomplish your goals in a timely manner. All of our clients and authors retain the copyrights and ancillary rights for their works exclusively.
